Under Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), who rose to power in 2017, Saudi Arabia now has one of the worst human rights records in the world.
 

MBS is responsible for countless kidnappings and unjust detentions, over 3,000 political prisoners, as well as assassinations and assassination attempts against those who dare speak out against him or his abuses.

In a nationwide U.S. survey on human rights abuses in Saudi Arabia, respondents who are knowledgeable about Saudi Arabia said they want celebrities to take action against countries that violate human rights.

ADDITIONALLY, almost half of all respondents said that a celebrity endorsement of Saudi Arabia diminishes the likelihood that they would attend their events.

In summary,

4 out of 9 Americans would think twice about attending one of their events.
